Sakai Takayuki

Sakai Takayuki Samegawa Oroshi

$54.99

The Samegawa Oroshi (grater) is made from shark skin and is traditionally used to grate wasabi. Shark skin has finer teeth than the surface of a typical grater, which produces a super-fine grating of wasabi that has a high content of air pockets, therefore maximize the essential flavors of wasabi roots. This fine samegawa oroshi by Sakai Takayuki is made of high-quality shark skin and natural wood.

Wash and dry in shade and safely store after use. Avoid direct sunlight and soaking in water for a long time as it may cause the shark skin to peel off. The texture and color of the sharkskin may differ slightly. This will not affect the integrity of the product.
