Naniwa
Naniwa DR-7560 Diamond Stone #6000
Pickup currently unavailable
Unlike many other diamond abrasive plates, Naniwa's Diamond Stones do not feature a single layer of diamonds on the surface, instead there's a layer of diamond impregnated resin that's 1mm thick. The layer is bond on the base which makes the stone looks like an ordinary whetstone in term of dimensions - great for fitting onto your whetstone holders. The #6000 ultra-fine grit diamond stone is particularly useful for creating a mirror polished edge on the blade. Soaking is not needed prior to sharpening, so a splash of water will be sufficient for the start.
