How to clean:
If the stone’s performance is slowing down, or seems to be diminishing, you can clean using a rust eraser, nagura stone, dressing stone, or a flattening plate. Be sure to clean the entire surface of the whetstone when using any of these methods to ensure even wear of the whetstone’s surface.
I really liked the new stone! Cut fast and made a nice edge for further honing! Would highly recommend this stone!
I held off on this stone for quite a while and I’m really regretting that.
I’ve been using the chosera 3000 grit which I also like but the 800 has a very nice tactile feeling but not too “grippy”.
I really like this stone!
This stone is great for a quick touch up because it does not require soaking.
I love Naniwa stones, the p-308 creates a burr rather quickly with carbon steel and doesn't load up too fast. This was actually my 2nd 800 grit as I dropped and broke the 1st one, leading me to buy the 2nd one immediately so as to quell my rage.
The stones arrived so quickly!!! I really enjoyed the buying at burrfection!
