SPG STRIX is an innovative blade-oriented powdered stainless steel that achieves optimal cutting performance through a unique approach. Unlike conventional powder steels that rely on hard metal carbides, SPG STRIX achieves high hardness (HRC65) by strengthening the metal base material. This reduces the difficulties in sharpening, while maintaining superior corrosion resistance. The steel's hardened metallic substrate provides exceptional cutting edges and sharpness without the grinding difficulties typically associated with conventional powder steels that use vanadium carbides.
