$200 scissors...as expected

These are obviously the most amazing scissors I've ever held in my life. The question remains, does anyone really need $200 scissors? If the answer for you is yes, these are the scissors for you.

A New Standard Is Set

I purchased these scissors 5 months ago. I wanted a pair that I could dissemble and sharpen. These scissors are easy to take apart, and they are easy to sharpen. Naturally, they come sharp, so many customers will not necessarily want to sharpen them. However, I do.
Separate the two halves. Then take the edge and hold it flat as you sharpen it on a whetstone, just as you would a knife. I have used 1000 and 3000 grit thus far. These scissors cut everything from food wrappers, envelopes, packaging material, etc. I do not use them on food or bone, however. I have plenty of knives for that.
These scissors will likely last my lifetime. While other scissors must be discarded in a few years, as they become ineffective, these scissors maintain their superb edge. They function flawlessly. This is a new standard.

Beautiful and Sharp

I thought the scissors looked really beautiful, and they were very sharp.

I had a problem using them to spatchcock a chicken. The finger holes were too small. I was only able to put two fingers and a thumb through them. It hurt my fingers to cut through the rib bones. They are not poultry scissors.
