Started off beautiful, now?

I received the knife really fast in the US. Great looking out of the box. In a timeframe of one min 1 quartered a lettuce, chopped bacon and cut a tomato. Turned around 1 min latter and I had 4 quarter size red rust spots. I thought Patina over time, naturally. Rust if prolonged exposer, sure. I just didn't think 60 seconds is prolonged. Be preparred. I washed it and removed most of it, oiled and wiped off. Most of the black is gone. Mostly remains in the pitted part. It's not at all like the pic but it is uniquely mine, might even be better looking. I can't wait to see how its second use transforms it. Very comfortable in the hand and cuts as a tool in the price range should.
