Steel Types

High Carbon Steels
These are carbon steels used for traditional Japanese knives, with high carbon content and typically high purity.

Stainless Steels
These steels have higher Chromium content, making them corrosion-resistant.

Powdered Super Steels
Powder metallurgy steels are advanced modern hi-tech steel that are capable of being treated to extremely high hardness, with corrosion resistant quality and still refined for easy sharpening. These steels are expensive, and forging knives traditional way using these high-end steels requires dedication from extremely skilled blacksmiths.
